Drawing on years of experience, our sales representative provided a quotation to the client. The client found our representative highly professional and trustworthy, leading to the placement of an order. Upon receiving the order, production was immediately initiated. What is a threaded flange?

A threaded flange is a ring with internal threads and bolt holes. It screws directly onto a pipe for easy, weld-free connections in low-pressure systems like water lines. Its weakness is scientific: the sharp roots of the threads concentrate stress. Under high pressure, vibration, or heat, this can cause cracks or leaks, so it’s avoided in critical applications.

What is an SAE flange?

An SAE flange is a stout disc with bolt holes and a precision O-ring groove. Two halves bolt together, trapping and compressing the O-ring in its groove. The science here is smart: system pressure pushes the O-ring deeper into its seat, making the seal tighter as pressure rises. This makes it ideal for high-pressure, leak-proof hydraulic systems in machinery.

Inspection, Packing & Shipment
